BLUU Seafood develops cultivated seafood: fish products made from fish cells that are grown in fermenters. At its site in Hamburg, the international team is building a production process that works without fish farms, nets or fishing lines.

BLUU’s first products are hybrid formats such as fish sticks and fish balls, which combine cultivated fish cells with plant-based ingredients. The aim is to produce animal protein from fish cells, independent of catching or farming fish.
